Stitchcraft Magazine

Out of my entire vintage magazine collection, Stitchcraft Magazine is by far the biggest collection. I own quite a few, ranging from the 1950s to the 1960s and let me tell you why.

Stitchcraft Magazine is one I highly recommend if you are into needlework, because this magazine has tons of amazing patterns for knitting, crochet and sewing, not only for women, but also for men and children. They have two pages with activities for children, which is incredibly cute. I really love these, as they are not only great on a historical level, but they are also on TREND. A lot of the needlecraft magazines are catered towards older women, so the outfits aren’t as amazing as I want them to be, but Stitchcraft makes up for it!

This doesn’t have any articles on life or anything, this really is a magazine just filled with patterns. If needlework isn’t your thing and you rather read about homely stuff, I recommend Home Notes or Good Housekeeping, but if you love fashion, I totally recommend Stitchcraft, just to get some inspiration! 🙂
