Review: Holika Holika Good Cera Super Ceramide Lip Oil Balm

I’ve got really dry lips. Well, my entire skin is dry, but I hate having dry lips. They crack easily, they hurt, lipstick doesn’t look nice and it’s just not my look. Lip balm is something I swear by. I always apply it before bed after brushing my teeth and it keeps my lips nice and healthy. I spend a lot of money on lip balm, as it’s easy to get addicted to it so I want the best of the best. When I was browsing the Little Wonderland website, I came across this one, the Good Cera Super Ceramide Lip Oil Balm by Holika Holika. It was cheaper than I was using before and its promises looked even better. Did it perform?

For the broken and cracked lips Holika Holika has the Good Cera Super Ceramide Lip Oil Balm. A balm that protects the lips and prevents cracking. When the skin surface is damaged, the ceramics moisturise the drier areas of the skin, maintain optimum moisture levels and reduce moisture loss, as well as improve the elasticity of the epidermis.

Does not contain artificial dyes, artificial fragrances, mineral oil, triethanolamine, talc, vaseline, benzophenone. – Little Wonderland website

This is a really thin lip balm, which surprised me! It calls itself a Lip Oil Balm and that’s definitely the case! It applies really nicely, but thinly, and doesn’t really have a very strong scent. It doesn’t lay on top of the skin, as some really thick balms do. It absorbs really well and quite quickly, which is always a bonus.

It moisturises incredibly well, I was really surprised by it! When applied, you can feel it moisturising your lips, they feel so much better with immediate application. My lips feel a lot better since using this one, even after the first time. They feel plump, incredibly soft and just really healthy. I paid 7 euros for this balm, and it is totally worth the money!

I totally recommend it if you have dry lips like me, I really can’t go without it anymore at night!
