Mask Monday: Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Acai Berry

Here we go again with another sheet mask! As sheet masks aren’t really anything special to begin with ( I mean, how innovative can one get with a sheet mask?) let’s just start with the review

This rich cream-type real mask, enriched with abundant nourishment of thoroughly squeezed acai berries, leaves the skin resilient and full of life. Acai berry, enriched with abundant nutrients and anti-oxidant components, vitalizes the skin. – Innisfree US website

I’ve said this a thousand times, but I really enjoy Korean sheet masks. They are more sturdy than European ones and they stay put! You can actually do stuff while having one of these on your face! I highly recommend Korean sheet masks if you want to try them out, but can’t sit still for 20 minutes.

This mask was slightly different to other ones I have tried before. Usually, sheet masks have a liquid, almost water like, substance all over them, but this one was a lot more milky, which surprised me! It has a pretty noticeable scent, it isn’t overpowering, but it’s there. It smells like fake peaches, one of those scents that you just know isn’t natural! I didn’t expect it to smell like that, but it didn’t bother me too much.

Usually, when you wear a sheet mask, they feel quite cooling, as they are more liquid, but this one actually didn’t feel cooling at all! It didn’t feel warming in any way, but my skin didn’t feel cooled down, it felt really comfortable to wear, as it is very cold in the Netherlands right now, I don’t need any more cooling than I all ready get!

Now, as to it’s promises, I didn’t notice any change in my skin! It didn’t look better, it didn’t feel better, it just looked exactly the same. I feel with sheet masks, they need to make a change in your skin at the first try, because you want to know if they are worth it or not, but this one just left my skin exactly the same!

I enjoyed using this one, but I really like using masks. I wouldn’t recommend it though nor would I buy it again, as this did nothing for my skin!
