Review: Too Faced Hangover Rx Primer

I try a lot of primers, not because it’s my favourite part of makeup, but because I’m still on the hunt for the absolute perfect one! I really love the Beauty Bakerie Face Oil, but I felt like I still needed more hydration. Especially because the weather in the Netherlands was getting a lot colder. Too Faced just recently launched here, so I decided to try the Hangover Primer, as I heard so much about it! Did it do anything for my dry skin?

Our replenishing face primer is your instant cure. It hydrates, smooths and brightens skin for a dewy, healthy looking finish.

DETAILS
  • Hydrates and boosts skin’s radiance
  • Promotes skin’s elasticity
  • Soothes and smooths the skin
  • Infused with hydrating coconut water  – Too Faced website

This really smells like coconut. I personally don’t like coconut at all, but it isn’t overpowering, and once you rubbed it in your skin, the scent is gone. So don’t worry if you don’t like coconut! The packaging is really cute, I love the whole pink and white combo! A big plus point, this product has a pump! A pump is something I really look for in face products, it feels more sanitary to me!

But let’s go to how this performs on my skin. I love this. I absolutely love this. It even helps to calm down my redness, whenever I use this product, my skin will seriously improve! Red spots will be less, overall redness will be less, and my skin does feel hydrated! My makeup looks so good when I use this as a primer, and I’m just hitting myself that I didn’t try this one out sooner! My skin does look a lot more dewy, hydrated, smooth and just looks great. I really understand why people love this so much.

If you have dry skin that just struggles with foundation, I really recommend you trying this out! Have you tried this primer? Did it work for you?
