Like I mentioned in my 2017 favourites, Vermeer is my absolute favourite eyeshadow of the entire year. If you can’t afford the Modern Renaissance palette, this is the only shade that I would say you need from that palette. So, here’s my review as to why this eyeshadow is the love of my life!
Perfect for the indecisive – or those keen to curate their own bespoke signature palette – this collection of single eyeshadows boasts an array of highly pigmented colours and eight finish options, from plush matte to hypnotic duo-chrome. Finely milled, the perfect powder is effortlessly easy to blend and the shades are to die for – from on-trend orange burgundy Sienna to dazzling Pink Champagne. Vermeer is said to be a metallic pearl, but to me it’s a very bright champagne colour. It applies really opaque, is really easy to blend, and is so incredibly buttery soft.
As you guys know, I take the promises of brands very seriously, and yes, this eyeshadow delivers! It’s really pigmented and this shade is really easy to use! If you are a beginner in makeup this shade would be perfect for you. It’s really nice and bright, and makes my eyes look amazing and brings out the colour of my hazel eyes.
I’m not really sure what else to say about this eyeshadow, other than that it’s great! I’m obsessed with champagne colours, and I prefer to use those over any other eyeshadow colour, so for me to have a favourite in a palette and buy the actual single eyeshadow because I love it so much, is huge. It’s the first time I ever did that!
